From Asia, with love.
We were approached to create a hip, casual, and vibrant place which would cater mostly towards a younger demographic. On the menu - a wide variety of Asian street food classics. From the get-go we wanted guests to feel the spirit of busy eastern cities full of people, lights, noise, and... chaos. Our goal was to achieve maximum visual impact keeping the moderate budget in mind. To tame the large, open space the venue was visually divided across two planes by the consistent use of dark moss green and fiery red. Guests are encouraged to socialize thanks to easily accessible extra stools loosely mounted on a wall rack. Exposed old tile glue on walls, the use of end-grain wooden blocks for flooring, colorful neon lights, and clusters of hanging plants - all aim to recreate the experience of eating outdoors at a busy Asian street or market.
